The Taylor's Complete - 1796
It is very, very rare to find anything in print on the trade of the Taylor. Many texts are written on weaving and dying, but a very rare few on sewing and fitting. This issue discusses many things including the “Patent Elastic Habits and Cloathes” without the usual seams. It also claims to correct “The former errors in the Profession.” Included are three of the four original fold-outs. Plate A, B & C are drawings of basic patterns for cutting their contemporary designs.
184 pages + 3 fold-outs, Bound in soft cover of Marbled paper.
