The author, John Moncrieff, is best known for his popular book focused on helping the poor find remedies for 'Distempers'. This second edition incorporates much of that work and has many of these remedies. An example; For Deafness – he tells you to put a green piece of ash wood in a fire, then gather the sap that oozes out and put it in your ear. An amazing read!
