Jack Sprit-Sail's Frolic; or, Sailor's Humourous Cruize; (d. 1791)
This is a funny tale of a sailor's who, with his own funds, seek to visit the city of London. As one would expect from a story of a salty sailor, there are bar fights, flirtatious women, thieves, and scoundrels. Peppered with sea fairing language, one might take this as a pirates tale, but it isn't. Just a humorous story of an able sailor ignorant of city life.
