Printed in 1796, this is the first cookbook written by an American and published in America. Before this time all cookbooks were from England. Amelia Simms, a self professed orphan, wrote this pamphlet and was published for the American women. Recipes of meats, vegetables and so on are taste tested and tasty. A nice cookery book for the chef of the camp.
