These are made from an extant example. This very small book is used to keep a Lady's needles or pins in place. This book has 8 pages of a pure wool and has hard covers with quarterbound leather and marbled covers. This book includes a ribbon to tie it closed, as well as a silver ring on the spine for it to be attached to the Lady's chatelaine. Even ladies who are not tailors or seamstresses will enjoy this. A safe and painless place to keep needed sharp pins for clothing, needles for embroidering or just needles for mending clothes.
