This 1750's pamphlet is not about bread recipes. There is, however, some great history on how bakers of bread tried to make a better profit by cutting their cost. They were adding weird powders into their flour to stretch it out. Some inadvertently even added poisonous materials. There is included an Appendix with more of the same regarding Ciders, Wines and even Pickles. Not a cookbook, but a good study on the history of cooking and cookery.
