This 1770's pamphlet was written by the author of “Common Sense”, Thomas Paine. Another fine work toward the American cause. Written at a time when public, economic and political support was waning for the cause of independence, Paine took pen in hand to give the American people more inspiration. After this publication hit the streets, it is said that George Washington commanded that this be read aloud to his troops when sentiment was lowest the army. This makes it a very important political piece for the military and militia alike.
