This 1770's pamphlet is a great set of rules for the game of Cricket. Including the “old” rules of 1755, the 1775 rules expand on these rules as applied to the game of Cricket. Rules for the Ball, Bat, Stumps, Bowling Crease, Popping Crease, Party, Bowler, Striker, Wicket-Keeper, Umpires and Bets. This would be a great pastime or sport for a reenactment or event. Tradesmen, military, militia and craftsmen alike can enjoy this physical exercise.
